5^th Grade Goes to Science Camp!

The fifth grade students attended the YMCA Adventure Camp on Oct. 30^th and 31^st. The students focused on studying earth science through field experiences and labs. They learned more about the environment and how we interact with our environment through a pond study, prairie study and forest study. At night, they went on a night hike and experienced how animals rely on all of their senses. In addition to their study of the environment, they also had fun canoeing and singing around a campfire. We want to thank all of the parents that volunteered to chaperone the trip. It will be an experience all of the children will remember for a long time.
